Caroline backs Chris Clark wheelchair appeal

Chris_Clark_fundraiser131019.jpgCaroline Flint joined Civic Mayor Linda Curran, Hatfield councillor Derek Smith and local residents for a fundraiser for Dunscroft resident Chris Clark, who requires a specialist wheelchair after a double leg amputation.

Said Caroline: “The community has rallied round Chris Clark, who has really been through a tough time. Congratulations to Tracey Wilkins and Neil Dunn who have organised the fundraising with a target, initially, of £5,000 for his specialist wheelchair, then further funds to adapt his new home.

“Chris has had to cope with a triple heart by-pass, kidney failure and diabetes leading to the loss of both legs.  He endured seven operations in three months; and now is determined to regain his independence.”
