Caroline joins Tickhill Awards Ceremony

Caroline Flint joined the Mayor of Tickhill, Brian Keith and local residents and businesses for the town’s annual awards this week.Award_winners_-_Tickhill_awards.JPG

Said Caroline:  “The Tickhill Awards is an important annual occasion where local residents, young and old, and local businesses are recognised.

“I firmly believe that for most people family and community come first, whatever else they do in life.  These awards are a celebration of the contribution people make to their community; and recognise the achievement of young people.  It was a pleasure to join Brian Keith and so many residents who help to make Tickhill a better place to live.”

This year’s winners were:

Nigel Cannings, winner of the Community Award
The Alison Award for personal achievement – Ross Adgar
Young Person of the Year – Ryan Hobson
Best dressed shop window – Karen Wykes & Gaynor Waddington, Real Ladieswear
