Caroline was interviewed on Peston, Robert Peston's ITV Wednesday night show, speaking about Brexit.
Said Caroline on the show: "I think 'no deal' would be an absolute disaster... when we had the referendum in 2016 we had the highest turnout for a vote in many, many years. I don't believe a second referendum would solve anything."
She also argued that the Labour Party needs to take more credit for shifting Theresa May's position on Brexit, and for campaigning and achieving a transition period to improve the chances of an orderly exit from the EU.

“I think we’d all have to look in the mirror” @CarolineFlintMP says she would be very worried if we ended up with something coming back from the EU that met a lot of Labour’s tests but her party's votes meant the UK risked going out on a no deal. #Peston pic.twitter.com/qtXlwrbHZx— Peston (@itvpeston) October 24, 2018
