Caroline speaks on the future of unions for the Fabian Society

Caroline joined the Fabian Society and Community Union to speak about the future of trade unions at an event in Parliament this week.

The event explored the challenges facing trade unions and the innovations they need to thrive.

Caroline said: "Coming from a union background myself, I loved discussing the future of unions at this all-women panel.

"It's important to understand the reasons why people join a union and to ask them about their experiences. I always say when my constituents come to my surgeries with a grievance: 'are you in a union?'."
