Caroline Flint welcomed the latest Doncaster academy to see progress this week with a visit to The De Warenne Academy in Conisbrough.
The MP received a tour of the school from School Council members, Abbie Trow and Cain Axon, before meeting pupils who are about to visit the Houses of Parliament. Ms Flint briefed the pupils on the history of the Palace of Westminster and some historical features to loo0k out for during their tour.

Caroline said: “The De Warenne Academy has just received a much improved Ofsted report, which I believe reflects the determination of Gill Pollard and her staff to see the school continue to improve.
“De Warenne Academy is currently planning its new school building. A completely new school was planned by the Labour Government, but the Coalition took an axe to most projects. It is a relief that De Warenne is at least to get £10 million to invest in a modern school building. I wish the Academy and the School Partnership Trust every success.”
