Everyone's a winner at Martinwells Junior Fishing Club

300_pounds_from_keepmoat_MWJFC.JPGThe sun was shining on the bright new hoodies, sponsored by Keepmoat, to celebrate the success of the Martinwells Lake Junior Fishing Club.

Caroline Flint presented the Fred Utley Memorial Cup to Koben Clarke, but everyone was smiling at the success of the new venture.

Carol_Utley_Koben_Clarke_and_CF.JPGSaid Caroline:  “The Junior Fishing Club was the brainchild of our local PCSOs Ian Warhurst and Bob McGuiness.  It has been a huge success and I’m sure it will become even more popular now that Koben and the other members have walked away with medals and hoodies.

“The Martinwells Lake has been a five year labour of love led by some brilliant volunteers.  I hope our community values what it has here.  This place is really special.”MWells_JF_Club_about_turn.JPG
