Pupils show their support for Children in Need

Crookesbroom - children in needCaroline Flint joined staff and pupils at Crookesbroom Primary Academy this week to fundraise for Children in Need.

Ms Flint hosted a short Question Time at the school Assembly, followed by a tour of the school.

Said Caroline: “The Crooksbroom assembly was a sea of onesies, Pudsey eye patches and polka dot pyjamas.  The pupils really enjoyed dressing up for Children in need; and the home-made cakes were irresistible. “

Said Executive Principal, Anne Elliott: “The children and staff at Crookesbroom Primary Academy were delighted to welcome Caroline Flint MP, to join us on our special day of fundraising for Children In Need.  Following a special assembly, Caroline took a tour of school and spent time talking to pupils, before buying a selection of cakes from our cake sale. In total we raised £290 for Children In Need.”
