Caroline Flint took part in the Remembrance Service at St Peter's Church Conisbrough, followed by the parade and wreath laying.
At the event, Ms Flint met World War II veteran Fred Adamson, one hundred years old on Friday 15 November.
Ivanhoe School was praised by MP Caroline Flint this week as “certainly one of the most distinctive schools in Don Valley”, after her visit to the school.
Ivanhoe, which is rated good by Ofsted, boasts 100% attainment for maths and 100% for punctuation and spelling.
Ofsted reported: “Pupils leave the school attaining standards in reading, writing and mathematics that are constantly above that expected for their age and above other pupils of the same age nationally.”
Caroline Flint has attended three Remembrance events as part of this year's support for those who have given their lives in the service of our country.
Caroline attended the two minutes silence on Saturday 11 November at 11am at the Mansion House.
Of all the people I have met in the last few months, I will never forget Arthur and Patricia.
Arthur had some strong words to say to Theresa May. Watch it here, then share it.
