My Speech to the University of Oslo British Politics Society 18 September 2018.
May I begin by saying: Takk for invitasjonen her.
You may be pleased to know that will be my first and last attempt at Norwegian today.
Thank you to Professor Wold; to the British Politics Society, to the University of Oslo, for hosting today’s lecture; and for everyone who has come to take part.
Caroline Flint has been given a guided tour by Assistant Director Helen Jones of the Rebel Daughters exhibition, at The Point, in Doncaster.
The exhibition is to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first women to get the vote, in 1918, and will be showcasing a range of voices of all ages, exploring what being a rebel daughter means.
Ms Flint told Helen Jones said: “Being a rebel daughter means not letting anyone tell you how to be a rebel daughter.” Watch the video HERE.
